Juan Leon
Program Facilitator
Juan Leon serves as the Facilitator for the Technical Rising Internship program at LA-Tech.org, where they deliver technical content, support curriculum development, and mentor interns as they prepare for careers in the tech industry.
A first-generation college graduate and proud member of an underrepresented group in tech and academia, Juan brings a unique perspective shaped by a non-traditional career path. They earned a degree in Finance and spent 10 years in banking before transitioning into computer science.
Juan received his graduate degree in Computer Science from California State University, Dominguez Hills and now teaches computer science courses there. They are passionate about expanding access to tech careers and supporting the next generation of diverse talent.
