Investing in LA.
Building Opportunity Together.

Our mission is to bridge the gap between tech and community.

LA Tech was founded by tech founders and CEOs to support our hometown. We want to increase economic opportunity for LA’s low income students and underrepresented communities.

Investing in LA’s Future: You

LA Tech is a nonprofit coalition established by the Los Angeles tech community to enhance economic opportunities for underserved communities in LA. We provide LA youth with the skills and knowledge needed to break into tech through paid learning opportunities.

Together, We’re Building a Stronger LA

We believe that talent is everywhere, but opportunity isn’t. That’s why strong partnerships with tech leaders like Google, Waymo, and Microsoft and many LA based tech companies, as well as more than 200 dedicated tech volunteers have made this a powerful year for the LA Tech community.

Industry Partnership

In less than three years, LA Tech has successfully placed over 1,000 interns in paid positions within the tech industry, partnering with companies just like yours. By collaborating with us, your company can tap into a diverse pool of talent from undeserved communities in Los Angeles, bringing fresh perspectives and skills to your team.

Volunteer

Our volunteer opportunities are mostly centered around supporting students and young people entering the tech workforce through resume reviews, mock interviews, mentorship and speaking engagements. This helps the next generation of diverse tech leaders learn and grow.

Testimonials

LA Tech strives to create a community for underrepresented and talented students. Former Rising Interns provide first-hand testimony on how our program impacted their professional development.
